Why use PROMs?
Patient Reported Outcome Measures – or, PROMs – are surveys used to measure what matters most to patients. A universal quality of life measure –the EQ5D– is used together with surveys chosen by your service to quantify PROMs. This data can then be used in clinic discussions with the patient and their whanau, to truly put the outcomes that matter to patients at the centre of care.
